Fedex Field Parking

Finding Fedex Field parking is easy…

Said no one. Ever.

There’s little else to choose from, aside from the designated official Redskins lots.

  • Offsite parking? There is a dearth of parking facilities in the vicinity.
  • Public transportation? The nearest metro rail station is a mile away.
  • Shuttle service from local pubs? I don’t think there’s a sports bar within 10 miles.

And just how much does an official parking pass cost?

At 50 bucks, the price of parking for Fedex Field was the third-highest (tied) in 2018. This, despite the fact that you’re paying for parking at Fedex Field even when you’re not using a car.

Of course, $50 is the face value price. If you don’t know how unlikely your chances are of getting tickets or parking passes at face value, then read this.

In reality, you’ll have to pay considerably more on the secondary market. Exactly how much more? Well, let’s see:

  • The median cost of the cheapest available Fedex Field parking pass for 2022 is $91.93.
  • So, while that’s 21% below average, you can potentially pay much, much more:
Fedex Field parking prices can make you laugh!

In any case, it’s still a lot of cash to shell out for a team that:

  • Played the entire 2020 season without an actual name;
  • Hasn’t won a post season game since its Super Bowl victory over 30 years ago;
  • And could end up moving to Virginia.

Additionally, might I point out that the average cost of tickets that year ($74.38) was actually cheaper than the parking. Moreover, the value score for parking at Fedex Field this season is a mediocre 12. It would require a $41 drop in price from the current average ($103) just to get the score above average.
