Free (Really!) Gillette Stadium Parking

Free Gillette Stadium Parking

Free Gillette Stadium parking.

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you.

Yes, you can park on site, at absolutely zero cost.

Ordinarily, as a Pats fan, you’d feel a sense of catharsis.  But since the cheapest average parking on the secondary market costs over $400, you’re naturally skeptical.

So, if you’re wondering…

  • Is this a bait and switch?
  • Is it a limited time offer?
  • Does it apply only to certain ticket holders?
  • What’s the catch?

In this case, who can blame you?  Here then, are your answers…

Bait and switch?

No, this isn’t a marketing stunt. After acknowledging the horrific post game exit traffic at Gillette Stadium (duh!), the powers that be are acting to make it less painful.  It’s nice to see that they’re not exploiting the fans’ wallets in the process.

Limited time?

This applies to all 2019 New England Patriots home games at the Razor.  It’s unknown at this time if this will be the case for next season and beyond.

Who’s eligible?

This offer is available to any Patriots ticket holder.  You must, however, register here.

Free Gillette Stadium parking conditions

Free parking is limited to the new “Delayed Exit Lot” located in Lot 55.  If there’s a catch, it’s the fact that you can’t exit the lot for 75 minutes postgame.

However, this is hardly an inconvenience when you consider that it can take that long just to make your way to Route 1.

Conclusion

The cheapest New England Patriots parking pass on the secondary market costs $610 in 2017.  For the 2019 season, it’s $409 to date.  This alone should make your decision a no-brainer.  And if saving hundreds of dollars isn’t incentive enough, registrants get access to the Cross Pavilion Restaurant & Bar after the game.  This includes Patriots 5th Quarter coverage, and free snacks and beverages (night games only).

Conversely, if this is not the case, you can check out some other parking options for Gillette Stadium here.
