- No live streams. Notably, there are no live regular season or post season games. The only in-progress game broadcasts you’ll get are of the pre-season variety.
- Fantasy Football. If you’re big on fantasy football, you’ll naturally want live updates on your teams or players.
- NFL RedZone. It’s not that you can’t get RedZone with NFL+ – you can. But why would you want to? Given that you’re going to watch full game replays, live scores are the last thing you want to see.
- No need for out of market games. If you live in the same vicinity as your team, you may not need or want access to out of market streams. Ravens fans with Hulu + Live TV, for example can view up to 12 broadcasts this season (8 home, 1 at Washington, + 3 nationally televised).

Who is NFL+ best suited for?
- Frequent travelers/people who work odd hours. Not everyone gets to stay home on Sundays. For those who can’t be there, NFL Plus means never having to miss another game.
- Parents of newborns/infants. Ideal for you parents of babies and young children who rarely get 3 minutes to themselves, never mind 3 hours. Provided that you can sneak in a 45-minute condensed game at some point, it’s a game changer.
- People who’ve moved. At one time, watching your team on TV after you’ve moved – without NFL Sunday Ticket -simply meant going to a local sports bar. Due to the pandemic, that’s no longer possible, for the most part. Plus allows you to watch all of your favorite team’s games, no matter where you are.
- Those on a budget. For $100 per season, NFL+ is a relative bargain compared to other streaming services.

Granted that the vast majority of fans would rather watch live streams, the low cost of Plus makes sense. However, live games aren’t worth anything to those who can’t watch them, as is the case of many within the above categories.
